New Freshman

The new freshman moved on campus yesterday. And if you are unfamiliar with CBU's orientation, it includes the families of the new freshman for the first two days. These some 3000 people have a time frame in which they have to eat, so suffice it to say the caf was crowded. VERY crowded, lemme show you the line.

Seriously? I didn't even eat today.

A Few Things...

1) Come follow me on Twitter, if you make one I will follow you.
2) I am very very very ready for school to start. It is going to be a good year.
I am taking: Theology of James, History of Baptist Thought, Advanced Biblical Preaching, Golf, Self-defense, and my supervised ministry. I just went and got my books, should not be to heavy on the reading this year, but will be full of other things I am sure.
3) Back to School BBQ on Wednesday for The Refinery and The Journey. Should be a blast, if you are a middle schooler or high schooler come to Mag toomorrow at 6 for free food, then the usual Wednesday night program. Bring a friend.

Big Lots

Today I discovered the beauty of Big Lots. It was my first time stepping into this wonderful place. For a mere 35 dollars I got some computer speakers, a 25 foot AV cable (so I can now watch live TV in my new upstairs room), a 15 foot ethernet cable, and three movies (Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The Squid and the Whale, and Kung Fu Hustle. I have not seen the latter too.) It was amazing. I fully recommend this store if you have never been.

Bible in a Minute

When I saw the headline for this on myspace, I thought it was going to be horribly sacrilegious, but its not. While I watched this I thought of Dr. Mooney because in his class we had to write a meta-narrative of Genesis through 2 Samuel in ten minutes, and in a way that a 6 year old could understand it. Enjoy.

I just got a new phone. It is pretty rad. Any phone I can update my blog with is pretty rad in my book.

Those of you who know me, know that I am not a sports guy. I think most professional athletes are spoiled jerks. I don't watch any sports really, except for hockey. I am a sucker for hockey. That being said, I am addicted to the Olympics right now. I have no idea why. I am not especially patriotic so I don't care if we win any medals, but I cannot get enough of the games. It's only been two days, but I have been glued to my TV watching the entire time. I love the Olympics.
